I am travelling with the Welsh Select Committee to China, where we will be taking evidence for our inquiry into globalisation and its impact on Wales (and, by extension, the whole of the UK).

My heart bleeds for you and your colleagues, travelling all that way for the good of us back home.
Think of the carbon footprint you are all leaving going all of that way!
Hope the journey is comfortable for you all, last time i travelled a long distance my knees were up to my chin!

I guess you brought with you only a PDA and not a laptop and so you have not been able to "blog" us since you left for China several days ago. You have many pages to make up on your return. Please try to relate a message to us on this blog through email exchange with your office here, assuming they can access your blog. Tell us all about your fact findings soon.
